To support local schools and teachers through DonorsChoose, generate excitement in the local community and encourage local community members to attend The Chevron Championship.

program overview

Chevron U.S.A. Inc. will donate $5 for each purchase of a The Chevron Championship general admission Spectator Pass through SeatGeek to DonorsChoose. DonorsChoose will use Chevron’s donations to fund classroom project requests from eligible schools in The Woodlands, Montgomery and Spring, Texas. Up to $100,000 is available for funding and time for the Program is limited. All classroom project requests must be approved by DonorsChoose to be eligible for funding.

The Program Period for purchasing tickets will begin at 12:00:01 a.m. CT on March 11, 2025 and is scheduled to end at 11:59:59 p.m. CT on April 30, 2025. Chevron reserves the right to end the program earlier if the $100,000 available for funding is reached.

how consumers participate

Consumers participate in the Program by purchasing a general admission Spectator Pass to The Chevron Championship through SeatGeek.

how schools participate

Schools participate by submitting eligible classroom project requests to the DonorsChoose.org website for approval for posting during the Project Submission Period. Schools must be eligible to participate and classroom project requests must be submitted by individual Eligible Project Submitters. See next page for additional information.

how schools participate

  • Eligible Schools: K-12 public and charter schools in The Woodlands, Montgomery and Spring, Texas are eligible to receive funding.
  • Eligible Project Submitters: All full-time teachers, librarians, guidance counselors and school nurses at eligible schools are eligible to submit classroom project requests.
  • Eligible Classroom Project Requests: Chevron will fund up to $1,000 per Eligible Classroom Project Request. Chevron recognizes the importance of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education and encourages classroom project requests in support of STEM education.
  • Project Submission Period: The Project Submission Period will begin at 12:00:01 a.m. CT on March 11, 2025 and is scheduled to end at 11:59:59 p.m. on April 30, 2025. Chevron reserves the right to end the Project Submission Period earlier once the funds are all distributed.
  • Project Funding Period: The Project Funding Period begins on March 11, 2025 and ends on April 30, 2025 or when all funds have been distributed. Once projects are funded, the materials/supplies for the funded project will be fulfilled and distributed by DonorsChoose.org.
  • First-Come, First Served: Eligible Classroom Project Requests will be funded in the order that they are received and posted on DonorsChoose.org within each township or city, at Chevron’s sole discretion.
  • Limitations on Funding: Up to $100,000 is available in funding by Chevron. Up to one (1) posted Eligible Classroom Project Request per Eligible Project Submitter will be eligible to receive funding by Chevron. Up to $1,000 per Eligible Classroom Project Request is available in funding. Chevron reserves the right to partially fund Eligible Classroom Project Requests if insufficient funds are available to fund an entire project.
