November 20, 2024
Tickets for The Chevron Championship in 2025 are officially on sale now. The on-sale coincides with the LPGA’s announcement of the full 2025 LPGA Tour schedule this morning.
The Chevron Championship will be the 10th overall event and first major championship on the LPGA Tour’s 2025 calendar and will take place April 24-27 at The Club at Carlton Woods in The Woodlands, Texas. The Chevron Championship will kick off the start of “major season” for the LPGA, as more than 130 of the world’s best female golfers are expected to head to the Houston area in search of a career-defining win.
“Chevron looks forward to welcoming golf fans from around the world to the Houston area for The Chevron Championship, the LPGA’s first major championship of the year,” said Al Williams, Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Chevron. “2025 is going to be an exciting year, and we expect to have the greatest golfers in the world competing for the prestigious Dinah Shore Trophy and fans of all ages enjoying an unforgettable experience.”
Fans can purchase tickets or view details on ticket options at SeatGeek.com. Daily and weekly ticket and hospitality packages are available so fans can enjoy every moment of the action at The Club at Carlton Woods.
Spectator Passes start at $40 for single-day admission, while weekly admission for all four days of play starts at $200. Daily and weekly Spectator Passes include access to tournament grounds, various open seating options across the course and food and beverage options available for purchase at concessions stands. Spectators will also have access to many exciting fan activations spread across the venue, including the Inspiration Dome, the Chevron STEM Zone and the Girls Golf STEM Academy, among other options.
Once again in 2025, juniors 17 and under can attend for free with a ticketed adult, making The Chevron Championship arguably one of the best values for families in major professional sports.
Golf fans seeking an elevated experience have options as well. Enjoy the taste of an upgraded hospitality experience at The Chevron Championship at the St. Luke’s Health Pavilion. Pavilion guests will receive an experience that features all-inclusive food and beverages, premium views, access to upgraded restroom facilities and more. A portion of the proceeds from St. Luke’s Health Pavilion tickets will benefit a local charity.
Additionally, group hospitality and sponsorship opportunities for next year’s competition are available by contacting Tournament Director Colby Callaway at colby.callaway@lpga.com. These packages include elevated hospitality opportunities, including access to the exclusive Dinah’s Place, named after tournament founder and long-time women’s golf supporter Dinah Shore.
Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings No. 1 Nelly Korda is expected to defend her title, while 2024 Olympic gold medalist Lydia Ko, who captured The Chevron Championship title in 2016, is expected to lead a star-studded field competing for the Dinah Shore Trophy. Other past champions of The Chevron Championship include Jin Young Ko (2019), Lilia Vu (2023), Jennifer Kupcho (2022), Stacy Lewis (2011), Brittany Lincicome (2009, 2015), Pernilla Lindberg (2018) and Patty Tavatanakit (2021).
As one of the Tour’s most charitable tournaments since becoming The Chevron Championship in 2022, more than $8.6 million has been contributed to community organizations to enable human progress, including focus areas such as STEM education, diversity and inclusion and women’s excellence. Earlier this year, Chevron and the LPGA Tour announced an extension to keep the tournament in Greater Houston through 2029, along with a purse increase, player stipends and other player benefits.
The Chevron Championship also boasts a long history of providing the brightest young amateur players with an opportunity to showcase their talent and a pathway to the professional level by giving six amateurs the opportunity to compete with the best of the LPGA Tour.
The 2024 season on the LPGA Tour saw five different players win the five majors, with Korda besting the field at The Chevron Championship, Yuka Saso winning the U.S. Women’s Open presented by Ally in May; Amy Yang taking the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship in June; Ayaka Furue winning the Amundi Evian Championship in early July; and Lydia Ko earning her first major title in eight years at the AIG Women’s Open.
Fans who want a closer and rewarding experience at The Chevron Championship are invited to register as a volunteer. Volunteers can experience the tournament from a different perspective, including from inside the ropes. For volunteer information, visit thechevronchampionship.com.
